On July 30, the author learned from Shenzhen offshore oil engineering Underwater Technology Co., Ltd. that with the arrival, assembly and parallel commissioning of the last internationally most advanced ROV (underwater vehicle) system operating handle, China's first ROV pilot training system was completed in Shenzhen.

The system consists of a set of ROV console with 1:1 true ratio, control stack and administrator controller. The system provides real operation experience for ROV pilots by fully simulating the operation of ROV underwater manipulator and intervention tools carried by ROV. The completion of the system enables the training of ROV pilots to be "moved" from the sea to the land, which will further improve the training efficiency and quality. (correspondent Deng Yibo)
