Recently, the company signed the contract for research on Key Technologies of cylindrical fwpso export with CNOOC (China) Co., Ltd., marking the formal undertaking of the project after more than one year's efforts, which is also an important achievement of Shanye company in implementing and promoting the 2017 policy and objectives of Shanghai Salvage Bureau.

The cylindrical fwpso export key technology research project is a sub project of the "independent research and development project of marginal oilfield production devices" undertaken by the Ministry of industry and information technology. The project takes Lufeng oilfield in the South China Sea as the target oilfield to develop a cylindrical fwpso integrating production, workover, oil storage and export, Shanye's task is to study and formulate matching crude oil export operation procedures and emergency key schemes, and provide a new, more economical, safe and feasible operation scheme and technical reserve for the development of marginal oil fields and deepwater oil and gas fields.

At present, some offshore oilfields in China are in the middle and late stage of development, and the production decreases rapidly. It is urgent to find new structures or technological innovation to maintain the production growth. CNOOC Lufeng oilfield was completed and put into operation in 1993. It has been relying on the "Nanhai Shengkai" fsou (floating oil storage and unloading device) with a ship age of more than 40 years to store crude oil. Under the condition of declining production in the old areas of the oilfield group, it is not economical to directly replace new oil tankers in the current oil price bureau. Compared with traditional oil tankers, cylindrical fwpso not only has unique shape, but also has significant advantages in integrating workover function, easy migration, reusable and resisting bad sea conditions. This new intensive device can not only help the development of marginal oil fields and produce economic benefits, but also provide an exploratory choice for the large-scale development strategy of deepwater oil and gas fields in the South China Sea in the future. Since the first oil ship in the South China Sea in 1990s, Shanye company has provided mooring oil extraction services for CNOOC. So far, it has safely extracted more than 7000 oil ships in the South China Sea and Bohai Sea. CNOOC attaches great importance to the rich operation experience and statistical data accumulated by Shanye in the service sea area by virtue of its technical advantages, and believes that Shanye, as a professional service company, has the ability to carry out systematic technology research The reliable conditions for data simulation analysis and scheme formulation are the positive consensus that has contributed to the successful cooperation of the project.
