The seventh China Marine Economic exposition was held in Shenzhen from 14 to 17 October 2019. Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, chairman of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, wrote a letter to congratulate the opening of the Expo.

2019 international marine economic cooperation and development forum is an important supporting activity of the Expo. Zhang Hui, chairman of the company, was invited to attend the forum as the main guest and had an open communication and discussion with experts at home and abroad from Shanghai Jiaotong University, China University of petroleum, China Ocean University and KPMG on "meeting new challenges of maritime security".
